WALLS
"When the carriage stops,
I'm gonna walk through the sand.
said the man."
From a piece of paper in the 14th century
When you walk along the road and reach the range against the wall, it is not blocking. The end of the road does not mean that the border is over. The wall is the curtain. Separating something from something else is not in its ontology. What he does is to distinguish between what appears and what is not. That is why; The wall is shy. That's why he painted his foot all this time. What is that; He does not want to bear witness to what is behind him. The absurdity of court walls. The face of the wall is pale. Accepting the mud, clay, dirt thrown in the face; not his own sins, but his wanting face to remain out. It doesn't have a wall background, it doesn't want to be left on it. Whoever says the wall is history; know that they have sins to hide.
It is our love for the bottom of the wall. Our meetings are close to the bottom of the wall. The wall is the marker. Our respect is until the corner turns. We accept the latter as an area of freedom; What do we have to do in front of our walls to narrow the narrower? How else to explain the displacement of the walls inside us when it comes and rushes.
Wall is the expansion of time. The moment passed inside is only at the bottom of the wall. What the wall shows us is not just lines. What we need to look at is the depth of the lines. At that depth of people looking for himself roam the past that we can trace the past.
We don't have a secret. We know what we did to each other yesterday. We like the walls. We have confidence in him; it is our belief that it will not give us away, hide it and watch. A wall that was not seen turned its back. The higher, the higher the insurmountable, the safer. We know that the walls do not have arms, but we still seek refuge. Blocks the wall of our desire to finish life in a snap. Or we would walk in this desert if he did not come out. As the height grows, the walls will grow to us as soon as the doors of the future increase, and we will lose the trail. We don't know that what we're going through just leaves a mark on the wall.
We do not know.
It's nobody's business behind the wall.
The aim of Mehmet Arslan GÜVEN is not to photograph the walls. Maybe he wants to document our marks on the walls / walls, who knows?
